Published feesMaya’s cash-in page says that selected partners charge no fee up to PHP 8,000 a month combined, with 2 per cent applying to the excess. Maya’s own site is the source of that figure, though it was not re-fetched during verification, which gives it less weight than the GCash schedule above that was read directly.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The ceiling, as GCash states it, is the balance held at any given time. However often the two are presented as comparable, they measure different things, and setting them side by side means nothing.

The figures on this page are a point-in-time record taken in 2026-09. Payment providers alter their limits and fees whenever they like, without telling anyone, so only the provider’s own page stays current.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Reading Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions directly turned up no gambling clause, only general bans on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Its CREDIT CARD terms belong to a separate product; there, ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ is a restricted transaction and the card may be suspended or cancelled as the stated consequence. BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 of August 2025 also applied to Maya, which took out its in-app gambling and gaming links as a result. The difference between the two products matters, since a restriction in a credit card agreement does not restrict the wallet.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — A monthly wallet limit of PHP 50,000 and a daily purchase limit of PHP 50,000. At this tier a Maya user can neither send to other Maya users nor make bank transfers via InstaPay
  • Upgraded — Three things are asked for: a video selfie, a valid ID and a verified address. A wallet limit of PHP 100,000 per month, daily purchases of up to PHP 100,000, sends to a Maya user capped at PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, and InstaPay out limited to PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
  • Super Users — A wallet limit of PHP 500,000 per month, matched by PHP 500,000 daily limits on purchases and sends Maya does not say what an account needs to reach this tier
  • Ultimate Users — The wallet is limited to PHP 5,000,000 a month, and daily purchases and sends are each limited to PHP 5,000,000. Maya does not say what an account needs to reach this tier

The published ceiling of Starting at PHP 50,000 for Basic, the monthly figure climbs to PHP 100,000 at the Upgraded tier, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles instant on InstaPay and between two e-wallets, and within the same banking day on PESONet. That speaks for the rail rather than the casino: a withdrawal can sit with the operator for its own review before it reaches Maya at all, and that review is usually the source of the waiting time.

A per-transaction cap of At the Upgraded tier, two limits apply: PHP 20,000 for each transaction to another Maya user, and PHP 50,000 each day when InstaPay carries a transfer out. applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
